marhy (born in Hiroshima, Japan) is the stage name of Mari Izumikawa (????), a Japanese vocalist, composer and arranger. She was surrounded by music as a child and learned to play piano and other instruments at a very young age from her mother. Throughout her childhood she won several regional and national music competitions. In 2004 she formed the duo DAUGHTER with her older sister Sora Izumikawa (????? ??) and released a self-titled mini-album. In 2006 she made her solo debut with the song Clover, the ending theme of the Japanese animated series Otogi-j?shi Akazukin ("Fairy Musketeers" in English). She has since performed and/or written numerous other theme songs for animated series, and has collaborated with many other artists including ????? (Yukari Tamura), Sowelu, ????? (Miwako Okuda), ???? (Takako Matsu), and YeLLOW Generation.
